Does cocaine go off? I do have about 70/80 or so bottles of wine in my home stocks and some more in bond at the Wine Society (Barolo and Bordeaux) but they're not exactly liquid investments..

Stamps marked "1st" or "2nd" (instead of a number of pence) were only introduced on 22 August 1989, when they were worth 19p and 14p respectively. They're now worth £1.70 and 87p.
I accidentally "invested" in stamps, just before a price rise, by wildly overestimating my future use of stamps. Must be one of my best performing "investments".
