Has anyone else had issues transferring their ISA from Monument or to Castle Trust?
Both me and my husband are having issues and both banks are blaming each other.
Castle Trust are saying that Monument keep rejecting the transfer request and Monument are saying that they have not received any requests.
I don't know who to believe.
Thanks

Similar situation with transfer from Monument to YBS. YBS say Monument have twice rejected the transfer request without giving any reason, and have also not responded to the YBS request for the reason. Monument say they have not seen any transfer request and know nothing about a further request for information from YBS.
I am tempted to believe YBS, hopping mad and singularly unimpressed with Monument. We are now into the first week of a formal complaint

So you've made a official complaint with Monument?0 -
Monument are proving to be a challenge for transfers in, this with the above info I’d be inclined to believe Monument are sat fault, but when each is blaming each other who knows.Suggest you raise an official complaint to both1

I have been trying to transfer from Plum to Monument and Monument assures me that they are waiting for Plum to respond. They told me that they received the ISA form from Plum. However I am very sure that the form having been sent over also means that the money transfer was made but they deny that the money was received. I am starting to think that they are just not too competent. Plum have now told me that they referred my case to the Wealth Management Department and I do not know what this is but I suppose it is the actual people doing the actual finance work. I have been waiting for over 30 days at this point.
I wish I could reverse the transfer and just leave it in Plum especially as the rates have changed again but I dread to think what happens if I initiate a transfer again.0 -

I wish that I had never put my money in Monument.0 -

I tend to think that the problem is at Monument's end. My transfer into Monument took more than a month to arrive and that's only happened after I've made a complaint.1 -

I've requested another transfer to Paragon yesterday. If this fails I will complain.2 -
Same here with an ISA transfer from Monument to Ford Money. The transfer request was made as part of application to Ford and rejected by Monument with the same 'account status transfer error' line. Monument initially denied receiving the request, asked me for the CISA number from Ford, which I duly provided, and now they are looking into it. This was on Weds morning and I'm still waiting to hear back. In the meantime Ford told me to request transfer again via paper form. If this second attempt is rejected by Monument, I too will go down the complaints route.2
