update. I condensed my objection to this PCN as follows: the parking space is part of the property that I bought and my lease allows me use of the space; for 4 years before the PCN and since then, I have not had any other PCNs or mention of needing a parking permit. Its physically impossible to display a parking permit on a Vespa as it does not have a windscreen. My landlord asked for the PCN to be cancelled.
Today the solicitor send me a letter that they have arranged for legal proceedings to be issued. They note my comments but teh terms of the site were breached.0 -

A claim is what you want because you can beat them and put an end to the farce.Always remember to abide by Space Corps Directive 39436175880932/B:
'All nations attending the conference are only allocated one parking space.'1 -

Read this landmark case about residential parking rights which can arise where is 'settled practice' of parking. It went as high as the Supreme Court (who refused an appeal to overturn the Court of Appeal's judgment) so this has as much clout as ParkingEye v Beavis:

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
