Yes, but only until your earnings are picked up at the end of your assessment period. You will be above the current Administrative Earnings Threshold (AET) of £1,534 per assessment period assuming you are PAYE.

If you are self-employed, your self-employed earnings do not count towards the AET but DWP will determine whether you are gainfully self-employed or not.

When l went to the Jobcentre l asked the advisor about this.and was told we both need to earn threshold  together amount otherwise my partner still have appointments so my earning above won’t count l thought it did

You were misadvised by the adviser. The answer is in the link above:

If you earn above the AET

If you earn the individual AET or more, you will not have regular meetings with a work coach. Where possible you should still try to look for more or better-paid work as you’ll be better off overall if you earn more.

This is also true if you’re in a couple, and your combined earnings are equal to or higher than the couple’s AET.

I think your partner would be light-touch depending on the commitments you made. You and your partner would have agreed to a Claimant Commitment originally. That would outline what is expected of each of you.

If he's on the restart program, he will have appointments to attend.

If this is a job you have recently started, have you declared a change to work and earnings in your claim?

I calculate your take home as  £1,481.45 after tax, although I believe that AET is based on Gross income (ore deductions).

So your UC may well be reduced  by £814.80. (Taken at 55p per pound) But as you are above the AET he wont be needed to attend UC meetings,, but as the restart programme kicks in he is likely to be required to attend these.

OP, once your partner is in the Light touch regime, they will have no requirement to attend Restart Scheme appointments.  The Jobcentre should inform the Restart scheme that your partner has changed work groups so they are aware of this.

Keep a close eye on your account (both of you) so that you accept your Commitments when you move into Light Touch.  Should your (combined) wages at any point fall below the couple AET, your partner will move back into the Intensive regime and they will be booked a Commitment Review appointment.
