I would not be paying for special delivery etc

You can scan the AOS form, or download it and fill it in and email it to the AOS email address shown in the defence template thread in the picture,  its the first email address in blue

Please edit the thread title to something more suitable like

Bay Sentry,  DCB Legal court claim 2025
I appreciate the help but nothing is making sense..there is no email address in blue and i cannot figure out how to access the moneyclaims portal. It mentions registering for an ID which I have done but the options I then get are for an individual to make a claim against someone, a solicitor or an organisation and I'm none of those things.

There is a black picture in the first post in the defence template thread,  with over half a dozen email addresses in blue, the first one is the AOS address

    AOS.CNBC@justice.gov.uk

You can email a copy of or downloaded document of the AOS form to that email address,  no need to post it

Claimresponses is lower down that list in second place

In third place is the DQ email

Okay, I've managed to get access.. I wasn't reading ir right. I've started my counter claim.
I'm stuck on the fee part because it's asking for the main cost but then asking again for reasons for the counter claim but i did that on the previous page.
Any ideas what i should put here?

I've submitted the claim via money claim now.... should i send to this address as well to make sure or is this not necessary?

I would not think that you should start a counter claim , which would cost you a fee upfront and probably fail anyway

Your task was to login to MCOL and only complete the AOS online,  to extend the deadline to 33 days

    Then to logout of MCOL

Alternatively, you can email the AOS to the email address I gave you earlier,  instead

One or the other,  preferably not by post though

Then you start drafting your defence in WORD

Please edit the thread title to something more suitable like

Bay Sentry,  DCB Legal court claim 2025

That bit was not made clear.
I logged in as advised and have paid a fee and submitted a counter claim.

That was an unnecessary complicated process so I've probably f*ked it now. I'll have to wait and see.

Why is it more likely to fail this way?

What were the grounds of the counter claim   ?

My car was registered with Bay Sentry which didn't used to have an expiry date. They since changed the rules to require an annual registration and did not form my friend (the resident). They didn't even invoice me for the tickets or inform me of any issue after the first incident, they just sold them directly to DCBL without giving me any chance to rectify it.

We emailed and tried to call them both and they initially palmed the issue off on each other then stopped responding to our emails and would not pick up the phone. Next thing i get the HMCTS letter.

They also have not provided any evidence of me having parked there or of any communication to residents of the changes to the rules

I can't see any of that winning a counter claim

Bay Sentry are not allowed to sell on the alleged debt,  it stays with them throughout, but they can contract with 3rd parties like debt collectors and lawyers etc ( its still theirs now, hence the court claim   )

That is all a part of your defence and in a few months time,  your Witness Statement plus Exhibits bundle,  at which time you will get their Witness Statement plus Exhibits bundle,  so will receive the evidence you seek   ( prior to the hearing   )

Frankly,  you wasted your money IMHO and have complicated the case unnecessarily

But its your case so up to you,  not us

    Please edit the thread title

    I wish you well
