2 and 3 are both incorrect. Your PCN is unlikely to have that wording.

You've removed 'unclear signs' and 'no landowner authority' that I encouraged you to copy in full from the third post of the NEWBIES thread and pressed for you to include by copying the wording about those 2 points from another thread that I linked for you.

And this is the first time we've heard that this was a double dip! Was it? What were the circumstances?

I think, rather than struggle to do a POPLA appeal, you'd be better complaining to Tesco.

2 and 3 are both incorrect. Your PCN is unlikely to have that wording.

It does look like a standard issue pcn (i think) - on the back its got 4 short paragraphs "importnat information about this parking charge/vehcile hires/contesting this parking charge and data protection"

Sorry I cannot find it can you please verify the wording?

I adhered to their no return within 1 hour scenario - the exit "photo" gives the time, i beleive, of my second visit on that day.

I think, rather than struggle to do a POPLA appeal, you'd be better complaining to Tesco.

I have already done this, with the usual "take it up with Horizon"

    thanks in advance.

But are you claiming (and is it true) this was 2 visits (a double dip)?

Well you know what the registeed keeper is not there for that period of time in one go. So I believe on that day the registered keeper went twice in one day, adhering to their no return policy.

Can you answer, or someone else too perhaps, my other questions above?

    thanks

No. I've no idea where you got those from because they are nothing to do with POPLA stage.

Please just read the 3rd post of the NEWBIES thread. I can't say it any more clearly.

    Hello coupon-mad and everyone else.

How about this as my POPLA appeal? Does this suffice?

    Summary of Case:

I wish to challenge this Parking Charge Notice on the following grounds:

    1. Non-compliance with the Protection of Freedoms Act (PoFA) 2012
    2. Inadequate signage and insufficient notice of the sum of the parking charge
    3. Lack of evidence of Landowner Authority

    1. Non-compliance with PoFA 2012

(The one I posted earlier together with photos of the parking charge letter)

    2. Inadequate Signage and Insufficient Notice of the sum of the Parking Charge

    (everything from here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=71285691&postcount=2341)

    3. Lack of Evidence of Landowner Authority

    (everything from here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=71287628&postcount=2343)

I respectfully request that POPLA reject this charge and uphold my appeal based on these grounds.

Thank you for considering my appeal.

Yes but you should add this but obviously NOT saying 'registered keeper' when describing the driver's actions!

If this was a double dip scenario that should be included as a prominent point in your POPLA appeal. The PPC should have checked for any missing ‘orphan’ images before requesting your personal data from the DVLA. Of course they are lazy and don’t often bother as that doesn’t earn them anything.

I am also peeved at Tescos generic useless reply - is there any wording I can also put back to their CEO in this instance?
