Incorrect price

Hi,
I had a query, I recently purchased a car on BMW Sytner website, car was underpriced. I have an order confirmation which I know is not a legal contract, however they have corrected the car price but left it as reversed now they have changed it to the correct price and removed the reserved status.
they have not contacted me in regards to the error nor offering the chance to buy it at the correct price.
Just wondering if there is any grounds I stand on.
thanks

You won't have the right to insist on the erroneous price being honoured, assuming it's a genuine and significant mistake - what sort of percentage of the correct price was it shown at?
If you'd committed to the purchase and paid a deposit to reserve it, then they should certainly make contact to discuss next steps - when was the price corrected?0 -
Confused.
You bought a car and then after you had paid for it they changed the price?
Or you told them you wanted a particular car but hadn't paid anything and after getting the order they updated the details?
As I understand it no retailer legally has to sell an item to someone at a wrong price. But common courtesy would suggest that they at least say "oops! just noticed an error on our website! Are you happy to proceed??"
I'd be finding another place to buy the car just because they have no manners. And that then, to me, goes beyond manners. What's to say they won't provide a pink car when you wanted a purple one? Or one that doesn't have the upgrade package you were looking for.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. To clarify:
1. Did you know the price was wrong?
2. What price have you paid?
3. What is the correct price?
