Have they just been lazy and used the same advert, edited, for another similar car?

    To clarify:

    1.  Did you know the price was wrong?

    2.  What price have you paid?

    3.  What is the correct price?

Answers to all three would help...
OP did answer 2 and 3 but edited the post, let's just say that the price paid was missing a zero, hence my comment above about an obvious error!
    Ah!

So I can assume the answer to 1 was "Yes"...

You won't have the right to insist on the erroneous price being honoured, assuming it's a genuine and significant mistake - what sort of percentage of the correct price was it shown at?

If you'd committed to the purchase and paid a deposit to reserve it, then they should certainly make contact to discuss next steps - when was the price corrected?
Was meant to be 100k bought for 10k, paid in full. On there website. Didn’t paid to reserve it just paid it outright
Ah!  A clear pricing error then, but they still ought to be in touch - when did they notice?
Yeah.... no way on earth OP is getting the car for that amount.   Very very obvious error.

Can't imagine why they're edit their post to remove that bit of information....

Just wondering if there is any grounds I stand on.

They've declined to sell you the vehicle.

Rather than asking here. Surely you'd be ringing them. Silence speaks for itself. Probably guessed you aren't serious in purchasing the vehicle. Come Tuesday the money sent will be back from where it originated.

The price was corrected 2 hours later when somebody in the office realised they'd just "sold" a car for 10% of the price it should have gone for. Your money hasn't been refunded yet and you haven't had an email from them yet because the refund and apology email will no doubt require approval or input from a more senior member of staff. I would expect that you won't get a response until after the bank holiday, but if you actually want to know what they're doing I would give them a call.

They probably assume you won't be interested in buying at the correct price. I've had this same issue as a retailer on occasion and only once has a customer gone on to buy the item - in that case the error was less severe (item listed at £1400 instead of £2400). Not a single customer who bought something incorrectly priced at 10% has ever gone on to buy anything from us, and a notable few were pretty unpleasant about it i.e. threatening legal action, raised voices, insults etc. If they already know what to expect, anyone would prefer to hand that over to their boss or dedicated complaints department if that's an option.
