With BT as the current supplier both Uswitch and Confused came up with "We don't have any broadband deals for you currently."--Tony-- said:
How do you check what is available?mjm3346 said:Also rural and no choice here - there used to be a few, although all BT under a different name and maybe John Lewis who used BT - but just checked again and now only BT is left.
When I use Uswitch or gocompare it gives me a list of providers, its only after I click through it says they can't supply the property. So I literally have to check each one manually.1 -
Not every provider is prepared to pay switching services like Uswitch and Confused the commission they require to ‘feature’ those ISP , so using these sites isn’t the entirety of the market , they just show the ones that pay them to be there ….and although it’s understandable that someone won’t give their postcode on a public forum (I certainly wouldn’t ) anyone claiming ‘I can only get BT’ has no way to prove this is true , especially if the ‘proof’ of having no alternative is based on what comparison sites show0
