I have a feeling there is nothing I can do about this.
Rightmove sent me this response. As far as I know that's the end of the matter as the ICO wouldn't consider one's home as "personal information" or would they ?

Good morning,
Thank you for your patience whilst I looked into this.
We unfortunately cannot change the attribute on this occasion, because it is coming directly from official public records that do not belong to Rightmove.
Rightmove uses a variety of data sources to produce the most comprehensive property attributes. Whilst some publicly available records such as the Land Registry or the EPC register will usually match what you see, sometimes we include data from other partners that have private data sharing agreements. In this case, the data is coming from one of these partners, and we therefore cannot disclose any further details
If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know.

What is it you're looking for, and why?
As you say, information about the rooms etc at 21 Acacia Avenue are not personal data so I don't see the ICO being relevant.0 -
Sorry not clear what the issue is or what you have complained about ?0

feels like there is a chunk of contextual information missing here?

Why do you want to correct it?0

As and when your house goes up for sale buyers will be looking at is the estate agent details surely? And I’m presuming that Rightmove would update their records from the Estate agentinformation at that point? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Is your house up for sale and RM has incorrect info on the listing? If so, contact your EA.If it’s an old RM entry that’s no longer correct - who cares? It’s really not an issue. If / when you come to sell it in the future you can make sure the information is accurate at the time you list it.2

Not relevant to my question but RM now have a feature like Zoopla where they provide a valuation. Like it or not, a lot of potential purchasers do look at those numbers when putting in offers.
If someone reads this (an EA perhaps?) and knows whether RM could be challenged please do let me know.0 -

So, if RM have a valuation for your property based on, say, 3 beds and 1 bathroom but there has been an extension so it now has 4 beds and 2 bathrooms, the RM valuation is irrelevant. Viewers will see your house and how many rooms it has and will understand that the RM valuation is simply incorrect / unrealistic.1
