Hello again everyone, I haven't set up online banking yet, so does anyone know if the Halifax accepts cash overpayments over the counter? Or will I have to send a cheque in?
£10 a day extra in May '18[B]£35/310[

I'm confused - Sorry!
If you took out a 2 yr fixed rated in 2007, are your payments not fixed until 2009? How did you payments go down?
(Not fair! I want my payments to go down!)
Very good question
My Mortgage instructions say "22 payments at a fixed rate of 5.350% - the mortgage is fixed until 31/05/2009 and so the payment will not change until after this date providing the account is up to date"
I suppose I should be happy as long as they go down and not up!! Sealed Pot Challenge # 0070 -

I know a lot of places do accept cash but I am not sure about the Halifax. Could you phone up armchair banking and ask them?

My Jan payment went through today so I have officially entered the 2008 challenge and my sig is updated accordingly.
This is going to be a big year for me as I am just about to start a new job and with luck by the end of the year I will be in the happy position of being able to be morgage free. I do not have a huge mortgage left compared with others (£11,000) but for me the privilege of becoming shot of it outweighs everything else at the moment.0 -
My aim is to have totally offset or paid off my mortgage by Dec 2010
Current balance is £21431.72.
However this is partially offset by some savings and some stoozed cash.0 -
hooray - won ten pounds on teh lottery
guess where this is going ......0 -
