It's a pointless call! 3 minutes, phone down. As you know from the Template Defence thread.wp408 said:Mediation session booked for Friday. Will update once again then.
Have you done the Public Consultation yet? It does take a couple if hours but the deadline was extended till next week.See this thread:
We understand that you may need some pointers. It looks laborious, we get that. It doesn't matter; no knowledge is needed except re your own experiences so you can call out a scam industry and you'll protect millions of motorists and help change the law.
I've written some guidance to help focus new posters on the issues. I've covered almost every question, providing ideas if you agree with our stance on things like DRFs, which we say must be banned.
Ordinary people like you are falling victim to this scam 15 million times per annum. Motorists need your voice added please.
CLOSES ON FRIDAY 26th SEPTEMBER.

Just off the phone with the mediator. Was once again a complete waste of time.He had spoken to other side who said 'They've seen that you submitted a template defence found online'. Asked me for my side.I offered £2.50 then the mediator tried to guilt me with 'The court fee was £35, so they likely aren't going to accept that'.To which I stood my ground with 'Thats kind of their problem.'Rung off after that. Guess we'll see what happens next and if they discontinue before the court date.I've got the code of practice link open to submit answers as well!2

They may discontinue before the hearing fee is due to be paid, or pay it and let the hearing go ahead, depending on what their client, NCP, wants to do. Probably be in several months time, so next year2

Small updates, received a letter a few weeks ago for change of venue to Portsmouth Law Court.Second received another letter from Moorside with a settlement proposal to either to pay £180 in a lump sum OR £200 via two month payments, and another threat that they have been instructed to prepare for a court hearing. How gauche.Unless adviced otherwise, I'll be ignoring this new settlement "offer".2
