Is there any chance you failed to submit the claim properly without reading or understanding how the Universal Credit system works, and it was submitted in error without your knowledge or understanding?

You won't go to prison; it will probably go down as human error. You have given them your statements; let them do their calculations. But also seek advice and any online help you may require in the future. Not everyone is proficient at dealing with online forms, applications, etc.

Error of judgement you've submitted your statements, you've been compliant it's just errors, as I see it.  There shouldn't be much either to pay back and they probably won't take it all in one hit.

It can be stressful, but try not to overthink things, or you'll head down a different path.

I’m not really familiar with the UC online system, but is there not a record of information that you’ve submitted previously?

Understandable, but it happens either by error or life worries, health issues putting off submitting information, and hoping it goes away or never happens. Then it will eventually feel like a weight off your mind to get it sorted out.

It will take time so just carry on until you receive a message or letter. There's really nothing you can do except try and find ways to put it out your mind for now.
