Electrician turned up as promised, and is just finishing up. Wooty woot woot. DH already had arrangements for today so I have dangerously been left in charge of tradesmen. Very little that I could get on with as the electricity was going on and off. Roll on this afternoon. Weekend will be spent arranging our updated utility space. And throwing out Stuff - DH doesn’t know that last bit yet 😈.
Thank you for the reminder, Iona. For some reason I was convinced that elections were next Thursday. We have them this time, so will toddle down later to exert the right that my grandmother fought for. When it’s also not twot.
Mr M delivering later this afternoon. I’m hoping for a full delivery today (not that it’s a big shop, just costly) after last week’s disaster with someone’s leaking white vinegar.5

Strands with no hints, all four Connections and Wordle in 6.Sorry about your orchids Valli.Wren walked, laundry folded and away, awkward easily crushed thing left by a musical type has finally been packaged up so it won't get flattened in transit. Don't know when I'll post it but that's the bit that was bothering me because it needed so much packing stuff.Possible mini-break half-booked but we're waiting on the dogwalker/sitter to confirm if she can have her for a couple of nights before we pay.Things ferried up to the attic at last that have been cluttering up the landing for a couple of weeks.Bit of Foodbank admin to be done will be next, then clearing some of the backlog on my desk. I've already written an email that will set a ball rolling after years of not being able to deal with something. Feels quite a relief to have a plan of action. I hate it when I'm indecisive about something, and often it just needs me to ask the right person the right question. I'm not particularly good at identifying both of those when it's a new situation.
 Better is good enough.4

Eltee, can you share your guag!I cleaned up bits and bobs in the (very small, don’t be too impressed) newly finished utility room, so that we can start moving appliances in at the weekend. DH went to the tip before the bank holiday crowds. I popped into the old work for a catch up and lunch. The tip visit appears to have exhausted DH out ( he still has a doctor’s appointment to get to shortly), but apparently not so much that he can’t go to the village pub this evening. At least I will be Queen of the Remote while he is out.
One load of washing dried on the line while I was out. HHI waiting in anticipation.5

            Morning all xx
I survived the heat. Wayyyyy twot for Rounds on Wednesday and Thursday!
I'm up, made my bed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, completed Strands with no hints, completed Wordle in TWO 🤓, and failed completely at Connections- not even one line. Supping my second brew, then....
 Saturdailies
 Shower
 Wash hair
 Moisturise legs and arms
 Get dressed
 Bring down laundry hamper
 Sort washing into loads
 Set first load swishing
 Put out rubbish and recycling
Put new bin bags in bins
 Feed the birds
 WUDUPA
 Recycle boxes
 Recycle packaging
I'm getting picked up at 2 to go to town with a colleague- my job share partner in one of my new roles! Get me making new friends. We're going to a pet shop to look at budgies..NOT to buy a budgie. J already has one and I'm only going for the ride..and to buy seeds for the wild birds to put in the planter / bird feeder that I put together earlier this year. (Which is stood in the corner of my living room awaiting further action...ballast, soil, bird food. I've told you before - there's a reason that I chose Roundtuit as my name! )
I'm a bit antsy about going somewhere new with someone new, but my Saturdailies routine will help to distract me.
 Have a good day.
