How can I keep cats/wildlife out of my milk deliveries?

dekaspace1 - Do a search on Am*zon for: 'milk bottle protector' and there are a number of options from boxes to silicon bottle top protectors
My milkman used to carry a gas box key and would open my outside gas box and put the milk in there to stop the birds pecking the bottle tops, but that's going back a number of years now

The insulated box from Milk and More does work well, and I shouldn't think it would take up a lot more space than a wire 4 bottle holder. Also wondering if you could leave it permanently outside if you're short of space inside?
OR, if you only get 2 pints at a time, I'd perhaps consider a small coolbag but I'd say it needs to be easy to close, ie not zipped, because I don't see the milkman fumbling round in the dark to close it - at least I'm sure ours wouldn't have done so!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

Cancelled & unlikely to use them againNumerus non sum1 -
Ours was very very good, and used the insulated container, until he didn't any more. Cue several episodes of milk being left in odd places and not found until it was cheese, complete failure to collect the empties for a week or so, and another price increase which they were not great at communicating and likewise, we stopped deliveries.Farway said:Savvy_Sue said:OR, if you only get 2 pints at a time, I'd perhaps consider a small coolbag but I'd say it needs to be easy to close, ie not zipped, because I don't see the milkman fumbling round in the dark to close it - at least I'm sure ours wouldn't have done so!Mine, M & M, couldn't even manage to put my items inside a loose lidded large plastic box, despite clear instructions on the delivery notes

Hi I decided to get a container from my local milk company, it's strange though looks like a styrofoam square with a handle, worried it won't last long.
