    Not every provider lets you pick a start date.
    Been renewing broadband for the last 10 years or so, which backwards providers are you choosing that don't let you specify a date?
    BT do not allow customer to choose start date when renewing Broadband same speed, last year I was offered FTC Fibre 2 instead of Fibre 1, was able to delay activation of new service, not same thing, had I renewed Fibre 1 would have taken effect from midnight.
