There is only one Template Defence thread (like the NEWBIES thread it is a pinned Announcement thread, 2 clicks away).

That is a link to a witness statement,  so totally incorrect for your defence 

You require the 30 paragraph template defence by coupon mad,  located in the defence template thread in announcements near the top of the forum below the yellow banners

Haven't read all of it but:-

Your opening post:-

"Parking Contraventions:

Dates: 22/05/2019, 24/05/2019, and 25/05/2019."

Your para 18 in Defence:-

"The Defendant avers that there was no agreement to pay a parking charge or added 'damages', which were not even incurred, let alone quantified in bold, prominent text. This Claimant’s lack of large, readable signs is nothing like the yellow & black warnings seen in Beavis, nor do they meet the basic signage requirements in the current BPA & IPC Joint Code of Practice. "

Have you used the Template Defence?.

Any CoP usages should be from the CoP relevant at the time of the parking event.

My lay persons observations 

1505grandad is correct,  the BPA CoP version 7 is probably the one in force 6 years ago 

Paragraph 2 doesn't have an ending 

Paragraph 3 normally rebuts the POC shown on the lower left of the claim form,  but I didn't see it in the defence draft 

We only need to see something like the first half a dozen paragraphs,  not all 30 or more, nobody here will go through a 30 paragraphs defence looking for changes

Thank you both for your invaluable help. I’ve now made the necessary adjustments to Paragraphs 2 and 3 and corrected the BPA CoP version 7 reference—your sharp eyes made all the difference!

During my research, I came across the case Civil Enforcement Limited v Chan (Claim No. E7GM9W44, 15 August 2023) and included it in Paragraph 3 alongside my other defences. I believe it’s relevant, but please let me know if you think it fits well.

Would anyone mind giving it a final read? The deadline (19th May) is approaching, and I’m growing nervous—I’d like to submit it soon so I can breathe easier before preparing for the next steps.
