Day off today and it is a beautiful day 🌞
Had a fairly productive day so far - 2 loads of washing done and out on the line, cleaned the upstairs of the house, been for a run and been to the supermarket.
Got petrol (£66.22) and spent £76.54 in the supermarket so it's been a spendy day. Will still need to go to do a proper shop at some point as I only went in to get a few food items and toilet roll which came to £15.39. The rest was on some bulbs to plant in the garden/allotment, toiletries, vitamins and some meal replacement shakes for OH. He's got no appetite and is eating very little so thought at least this will get some calories into him.
Plan for the rest of the day is to clean the downstairs and then relax for the rest of the day.

Had a relaxing day as it was just miserable all day. OH is thankfully beginning to feel slightly better so managed to eat more today. We chatted about going to Edinburgh for a few nights next month so decided to go ahead and book this - 3 nights for £225, have gone for mid-week as it was considerable cheaper. Very much looking forward to this as we haven't been away at all this year apart from going to stay with family.
On NS tonight so £5.83 spent on some snacks to take with me.
£10.58 added to MOP savings from cashback (ch@se account and TCB).

NS went fine last night, managed to catch up on some paperwork and do a couple of online training courses. Slept for a few hours when I got home and have woken up feeling very unmotivated and a bit low. As much as I do actually enjoy NS, I couldn't do it all the time for this reason.
As tempting as it was just to stay in pjs, I have gotten myself showered, dressed and out for a walk. It's a lovely day here and I do feel a bit better already just for being out. Unfortunately wasn't able to convince OH to come with me so he has opted for films on the sofa.
While out, I'm just going to grab a supermarket pizza for tea as definitely don't have the motivation to cook plus need yoghurt and fruit for work breakfasts this week and OH has a hankering for some crisps which we don't usually keep in the house (mostly because if they are there, I will eat them!).
I still need to go a proper shop at some point and have a £5 off voucher for Lid! - I can't mind if it's off a £30 or £40 shop but either way, I'm sure we will manage to make it up to that.

£7.15 spent on Monday on the pizza and a few other bits. NSD Tuesday 🙂 Yesterday's spends were £17.32 at the dentist and £15.99 on a Christmas present for OH.
Still haven't been for a food shop as have just been eating out of the freezer and very annoyingly realised at 8.30 last night that the £5 off Lid! voucher expired yesterday. Will pop to the supermarket after work today to get a few things although may leave a proper shop to the weekend now.

£22.31 spent in the supermarket today.
Spent some time researching energy options and have changed to a different energy supplier which should save us an estimated £260 a year 😀
On a double shift tomorrow so better get off to bed.

Energy switch has gone through and have submitted last meter readings to the old company and first meter readings to the new one. Just waiting for the last bill to be generated from the old company. I've opted to continue with variable direct debit for the new company as I feel it works well for me. I put aside money each month into a separate savings account for this and it means that money is not sitting with an energy company but is in my account earning some interest. I just transfer over what is needed the day before the direct debit comes off. What a change from when I first joined the forum and consistently struggled to pay the electricity bill!
Booked my MOT today for next month so that's one less thing to worry about. Have £1000 saved for this but fingers crossed it will not need any work done 🤞
NSD Saturday, OH treated us to a takeaway at night which also did tea on Sunday night.
Yesterday we went for breakfast out (£23.40) and then a long walk round round a local park.
Today has been a NSD, went to the allotment this morning followed by the library. They were doing a free seeds give away at the library so picked up a variety of packets.
£1.05 added to MOP savings from cashback.
