Yesterday was a NSD - met my friend for a walk and then headed to the allotment for a few hours with OH.

Today OH treated me to breakfast at our favourite cafe at the beach 😋 the plan was to go for a walk afterwards but it started to rain so just came home. OH has popped out for a couple of hours to see a friend and then we'll go food shopping once he comes back.

Food shopping cost £28.73 as didn't need much. Popped in past the allotment first to water the greenhouse and pick some things - raspberries, onions and courgettes. The lady from the neighbouring allotment gave us a heap of gooseberries so made gooseberry fool for pudding, was very yummy and plenty gooseberries left now frozen for another day.

Yesterday ended up being a bit of a write-off as had to deal with a crisis and didn't get home until 8.30pm. Took some time back this morning and went in late which was much needed. It's been NSDs both days.

Annoyed at our neighbours as they've decided to take down a hedge at the back of their garden which borders onto our garden. Fair enough, it's their hedge so they can do what they like with it but it made our garden feel really private and not overlooked. Now it's just a concrete block thing but with spaces which looks awful and means we can see right into their garden and vice versa. Will see if they plan to do anything else with it but if not, we may need to look at putting something there, either our own hedge, plants or a fence as it makes me not want to sit in the garden when it's like that.

£1.40 cashed out from TCB and added to roof debt savings.

Went out for a walk after work which made me realise how unfit I am, really need to get back into running and also lose some weight. On that note, I have signed up to ww again, £6 per month for 12 months.

Actually just realised that I have run out of coffee 😱 so it won't be a NSD as I will need to pop up to the shop to get some.

Yesterday was a NSD as I was on a double shift at work.

    Today is payday 😄

    • £100 credit card
    • £50 Christmas
    • £100 car
    • £100 emergency
    • £100 roof debt savings
    • £200 home

Have only put aside £100 towards roof debt savings as need to put aside money for boiler service and a new dehumidifier. My one has gone kaput - have cleaned the filter and tried changing the fuse but it just switches on and immediately trips all the upstairs sockets. It's not an immediate need but it's so handy in the winter months for helping dry clothes and making the house feel warmer so I do want to replace it at some point in the next few months.

Today has been a NSD 🙂

My parents are up visiting so we went out for tea with them and my gran.

Day off tomorrow so plan is to head to the allotment first thing and then probably meet up with everyone later on for a coffee.

Today has been a NSD 🙂

Popped past the allotment after work and picked various produce so had chicken wraps for tea using lettuce, tomato and onion from the allotment. Picked a load of peas so they are now in the freezer. Made a courgette cake which is currently cooling and also cooked some beetroot so now need to search from some beetroot recipes to use them up.
