You'll end up with a smart meter eventually. Why not bite the bullet and get one sooner rather then later and save money?

Maybe if you say what your concerns over having a smart meter are people can put your mind at rest. There are a lot of myths out there which are complete nonsense.

You'll pay more (typically 7-8% more) by not using DD, and most of the cheapest tariffs require a smart meter.
