I am hoping someone can help me please. Firstly I am Dyslexic and I struggle with letters. I recieved a parking fine where instead of paying parking for my car, I paid it for my husbands instead (he was not there and had not parked there at all). Firstly I argued the fine saying i had paid, sending all evidence, not realising I had paid for my husbands car and not mine. Second letter demand, I realised what I had done, so sent a letter explaining my situation with all evidence of paying parking ticket but wrong car and asked them to check their records they will see that my husbands car was never there, it was just a mistake on my part, and I had paid for parking for the wrong car. I recieved this letter this morning, explaing that their decision still stands and have to pay this fine.

Can anyone advice me on what to do, I do not want to pay the fine at all, because I did pay parking, just wrong car.....

Reported to be moved to parking sub-board.
OP, read the sticky posts at the top of the sub-board for initial guidance.

Did CP Plus letter say the charge would be reduced to £20 for a period of 14 days as per their CoP on keying errors.

Have a read of the NEWBIES Announcement thread.

Did they offer to cancel the charge for a £20 administration fee?

So put in a complaint online and quote the Oct 2024 Joint Code clause that requires the £20 offer for major keying errors, and tell them they breached it.

    Ignore it.

    Debt collectors are powerless.

Read the Newbies thread for advice.
A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".
