You presumably bought 3 hours parking for S666EAB when your car is actually S663EAB but that isnt their fault and had such a plated vehicle parked there your payment would have covered it.
Certainly I know with AmEx they typically will just waive anything under £10 because the time/effort for them to manage the chargeback process costs them more than that so pointless to do.Sorry either I am being thick or have missed something where did the OP state this?If your assumption was true that would be a minor keying error and the charge should have been cancelled!I thought they stated; "I know I put my number plate in the system correctly".
