I can't seem to see this mentioned anywhere but Danske Bank appear to have launched a £175 switching offer on 7th April.
It's only available to those who are a new Danske Bank Personal Current Account customer. You will not qualify for the Offers if you are an existing customer that closes any Danske Bank Personal Current Account after 07 April 2025 and subsequently applies for a Qualifying Current Account for the purpose of benefiting from the Offers.
In order to open a Danske current account you must either be an existing customer or a new customer living in Northern Ireland.
The offer consists of two parts:
£100 when you open a new Danske Reward, Danske Choice or Danske Freedom Current Account, switch a current account into it, deposit £1k and log on to Danske eBanking/Mobile Banking App.
£75 - made up of 3 monthly payments of £25 when you complete at least 11 legal purchases in person or online using your Danske Bank Debit Mastercard associated with your Qualifying Account (this includes any digital wallet transactions but excludes cash machine transactions or credits to the account) in each consecutive calendar month following the month you receive payment of the £100 Switch Offer.
You’ll not be eligible for either of the Offers if you’ve previously benefitted from the Offers, or any other personal current account switch offer from Danske Bank since 01 January 2023.
For full Ts&Cs see:

Last one was a nightmare for me - I’ve switched to them all and this was my first bad experience- good luck anybody taking the punt.0

Danske still, as I understand it, limit new customers to NI residents:
Opening an account with us
We’ll ask you for some information so we can process your application.
- If you’re applying online and you’re new to Danske you’ll need to be resident in Northern Ireland; or
- If you’re already a customer of ours and you’d like to open a new current account you’ll need to live in the United Kingdom.
That's from https://danskebank.co.uk/personal/become-a-customer
So this switch offer may not be available to most of us outside NI.
Edit: just noticed Bridlington said this already in the opening post! And, for info on previous switches and the difficulties reported then, check out the thread from last year's which is here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6523640/danske-200-switch-offer-18-4-24-3-6-24-ni-only/p141 -
Why do they limit themselves to NI??? These days you can operate nationwide very easily.0

These days you can operate nationwide very easily. One reason could be that they have processes which require branch visits, but only have branches in NI.It could also just be positioning. They did briefly allow GB applications - ISTR a thread on here where GB account holders got effectively told off for doing the bare minimum required to get the account rewards.0

It is not discrimination for a private business to want to limit operations to only customers in a chosen geographical market. If anything, not wasting £175 for serial swappers like MSE people who only want the free cash is sensible.
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I mean plenty of building societies often have postcode restrictions on who they offer their services to, how is Danske operating only in NI any different to this?2

One interpretation could therefore be that you'll only need to live in NI to open the instant access account if you are both applying online and you are new to Danske.
Thus if you wish to apply for the Instant Access Account as a new customer you can do so if you don't live in Northern Ireland provided you don't apply online so therefore someone living in, say, England, could open the instant access account by phone even as a new customer.
Once you have opened the Instant Access Account you would be an existing customer and thus be able to open the current account and partake in their switching offer regardless of where in the UK you live.
If they refuse to let you open the account by phone as a new customer living in England, Scotland or Wales on the grounds that they only accept new customers if they live in NI you would have better grounds to complain IMHO.
Having said that, the chatbot says you have to be over 16 to open a savings account such as the Instant Access Account. The T&Cs say 18.
It will be interesting to hear what they say if anyone from GB tries going down the phone route.
They are really careless when it comes to wording. Actually they're just really careless full stop. Just look at the issues we had with last year's offer. The entire thing was so convoluted and a bit of a mess. This one is even more complicated as it's a switch and stay offer!
