Is my isa now matured?

Options
Hello.
I've got an isa with Natwest(1 year fix), which l just noticed the interest  is now added. 4th April dated.
Does that mean it's now matured, and l can start the transfer process ?

The online interest rate still shows as 4.6% in the app, same as when l opened it last year.

The T&Cs will have said when maturity is reached. Which specific ISA? Just because interest has been paid, it does not necessarily mean it has matured. When did you open it (many mature after 1 year, but not always so)?

It would be usual for interest to be added at maturity but it would be better to fish out your account paperwork to ascertain the actual stated maturity date rather than making assumptions.

It would also be usual for the provider to have sent you a letter explaining your options at maturity, which ought to include the date, have you received this?

1 year fixed. I can't seem to find the documents on the app.  Never received  any physical  paperwork either.
    9 April  last year.

Can you log into the Natwest website and see the ISA? It should (hopefully) give the full product name.

Never received  any paperwork when opened  or any at present. Can't seem to find  a maturity date. I know it was the 9th April last year.

  • Exactly same as you. I did a 2 year in march and a 1 year 9th of april. As its a new financial year  thought i could add more money to them but  cant transfer anything to either isa. All i can think of is there is a short window at the start of the isa and after that its locked. I havnt recieved any paperwork apart from a letter confirming the interest of 4.6%. Usually natwest send me junkevery month. It should change on the app tomorrow so ill let you know.

    Yeah, let me know.

  • No change yet.  I may go in tomorrow. If it was locked in for another year it would be at the new lower rate. Not 4.6%
