Awaiting CCJ set aside hearing, is it worth ‘satisfying’ CCJ to help get mortgage?

Not in my view other then there is slightly less risk of the judge refusing to set a judgement aside.Otherman said:So is there any advantage to getting a consented set aside then if it is no quicker?2 -
You would save a bit of time waiting for a hearing though, if sending the signed Consent Order to the local court and asking for your application to now proceed without a hearing and for the Court to set aside the CCJ under CPR 13.2 or 13.3.
A tad quicker than hearings.
Consent orders are NOT guaranteed to be accepted by a Judge though. They must be worded to meet the tests in CPR 13. We've seen them turned down by courts.
Honestly I'd see the case through. Far better prospects of setting aside the CCJ by understanding what to say at a hearing.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Has the CNBC confirmed its been allocated to High Wycombe?0 -
Not as far as I know but my son was told a timescale of 4 months. I can get him to ring to find out. Does it make a difference?0

No if it had been allocated to the court and was in the pile for a judge to look at then I don't think it would doing by consent. However maybe because that hasn't happened then give it a whirlOtherman said:Not as far as I know but my son was told a timescale of 4 months. I can get him to ring to find out. Ok thanks, I’ll get my son to ring and see if he can find out. However Trustpilot reviews ( for what they’re worth) of Gladstones communication and general behaviour sounds terrible- they don’t sound like they would be amenable at all !1
