2024/25 Self Assessment Tax Return

Mine still says repayment pending. When I click request payment there isn’t anything there so presume mine is being processed. Do they usually process returns before or after bank holidays? Does anyone know what has happened in previous years with Easter BH?
 I know it’s a waiting game but the suspense is killing me!! I’m tempted to call them to check everything is ok but dread sitting on the phone for an hour to be told nothing more than I already know!

Not yet mine still saying repayment pending a lot of people I know is still saying the same aswell

If it’s pending the call centre will have no idea as to when your repayment will be issued. You will be given a further date to ‘check later’ which will be randomly suggested to staff that morning.

Best to wait!

Thanks! The wait is so frustrating! But good to see other people’s progress and know if I’m alone in the waiting game or not. When I check on payments it says information as at yesterday’s date. Does it not update daily? Does anyone know How often do they update their web site? Hoping mine has been issued but just not updated on the website yet. Or is that wishful thinking? 🤔
