I’m waiting on £1350,  shows as pending.
Bizarrely it says that I will owe £26 payment on account in July,  which is half my NI bill.

The repayment is for my January PoA overpayment,  will they hold £26 back for July?

I thought that PoA didn’t happen with a bill of under £1000?

Do I need to go into my account and reduce my POA ( again)  or is it irrelevant now I’ve filed my 24-25 return?

You are getting your tax years mixed up.  The 2024-25 tax return determines if POA are required for 2025-26, not 2024-25.

It was your 2023-24 return which determines if POA are required for 2024-25. If they were required then your actual return for 2024-25 simply establishes if any change to the POA is needed.  You cannot change your 2024-25 POA once you filed a return for that tax year.

Say POA for 2024-25 were originally £600 each and the (amount relevant for POA) due from your 2024-25 return was £20 then each POA for 2024-25 would be reduced to £10.  They wouldn't be cancelled.  But no POA would be required for 2025-26.

Mine was the same I’ve just had to ring them they needed to confirm my bank details but he’s now put the payment through for me whilst I was on the phone so I would give them a quick call if I was you as if they need something from you they won’t let you know in a hurry
