was thinking about joining swapgame, they still doing this offer?
NO, the offer ran out in January but was still being advertised to get people to sign up. I emailed them about it and they said they are updating the website soon.

i got this email today after ringing and emailing on monday -

    Many thanks for your email.

When we ran this promotion, we had a problem with the supply of stock from
Nintendo with unexpected waiting times for more stock to be built. We have
since had a supply of games delivered albeit these have now been fully
    allocated to all active members.

As Nintendo cannot guarantee a delivery time for us on additional copies of
‘Big Brain Academy’ we will be sending out a replacement game of the same
value to you as a substitute for this. The game you will now receive is
‘Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz’ for the Wii. This will be sent out to you
    this week.
Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.

wins - peroni bottle opener, peroni bowl, peroni coastersx2 and a vodkat cocktail kit,
would love to win something 'proper'!!

My game turned up at the weekend...no Big Brain Academy, I had the same e-mail as boltonangel, and we already have Super Monkey Ball!

Managed to swap it for something else though at a shop in town so all good in the end! :T

If you haven't got yours yet...just keep e-mailing them, they'll give in eventually!

Has anyone got any opinions on SwapGame's rental service itself? There seems to be some good reviews, and a few bad ones. But the few bad ones are really bad, talking about stuff like SwapGame withdrawing forty quid from someone's card.

I had a great experience with them. Games were sent punctually and their website and service was really easy to use. Also the three emails I sent them with regards to the free game were all answered within a couple of days, so even though I had to wait longer than the promised 30 days I was pleased with their service!

I had no issue in cancelling my membership and I wasn't charged anything... I think they would be a great rental company and I intend to sign up again myself in the future...

I sent one email yesterday and today got a reply to say I was being sent Super Monkey Ball. If the kids don't want it, I might try and swap it in Tesco for something they do.
