Sorry , I mean if the thieves got arrested and the police searched their history  in their phones it would make interesting  reading.

Ah, fair enough, I see what you mean.
But yes, your first step needs to be to report it to the police - it's theft, pure and simple.  Whether that will result in any action being taken I'm not sure.  And to be honest, it probably won't help much in your claim with the lottery organiser, even if you do have a crime number recorded.
You said you suspect it's a family member - are you able to talk to them about it?  I'm guessing if they're the sort of person to steal from their own family, your relationship with them is probably already less than amicable?  But I think realistically, that's going to be your best chance of sorting this out.

Yea, iv already had this out with them, and said they are adamant they would not steal from family. I think the only thing I have left if the police don't help is, I am a great believer in Karma, and keep positive  thoughts and hopefully  i will have the last laugh.

What is making you suspect it is your family member?

He has a criminal  record and he and is wife were the only 2 who visited my house the day they went missing and I'm a good judge of character so when I confronted  him over this, the guilt was there to see.also if you accused him of something  like that and he didn't do it. I would probably  still be in hospital.it was just a calm no I wouldn't steel from family.

And you know for certain that your numbers came up in that draw? Do you play the same numbers every week?

No they were lucky dips, and I had a quick look at the numbers and saw a load matched but never looked at the prize amount.
I wanted to surprise my partner when I scanned them.
