Thanks everyone. It seems the general consensus is that there are no red flags and that I am unreasonable, despite sharing our experiences with offers and indeed viewings. And, I’m sure there are no seller type biases here that are too often in such forums.

    Got it!
Huh? Is that meant to be a little dig at the contributors to this thread? Mostly people here have sold and bought - so know both sides. You generally have to be a buyer before you can be a seller (unless you inherit something).
Came on to get their ego stroked rather than for advice it seems.

If you do this also make a nice donation to Shelter for abusing their services by way of misrepresentation!!

Well this went a bit strange didn't it.

i was going to give our experiences and knowledge but don't see the point now.

They do say buying and selling is very stressful so let's put it down to that.

    Got it!

I'm buying my first house (although been through two failed processes where the sale collapsed from the sellers side) after 17 years of renting, it should hopefully be our forever home. Never sold a house in my life lol.

Just because people say your inexperienced ideas on something are incorrect doesn't mean everyone is an enemy out to get you.
