I was a bit anxious stepping on the scales this morning tbh.
I've really focussed on lower carb based calories in vs calories out this week, achieved my daily steps, did three couch to 5k run, and more strength workouts. I ache now! But hoping the increased fitness will be worth it. Getting my bingo wings down is a good aim for the summer :-)
I've also been busy spring cleaning and gardening since the weather's so nice!
So with trepidation and a little bit of hope, I weighed myself and I'm down 3lbs @Brambling :-) hurray!
Hopefully the motivation and focus will continue next week... weather's not so nice but must keep up with the walking and jogging. Onwards and downwards x7 -

On Tuesday this week I caught sight of myself in my bathroom mirror and was aghast at mine.5 -
I was a little miffed last night as I thought I'd done ok, thought I'd check again this morning and I AM actually down a little. Hurray!
I'll add/take this into next week so hopefully I'll record a few pounds off.7 -
@General_Grant I'm doing weights workouts with dumbells, so regular arm workouts. There are several free ones on youtube for all levels I use, like BodyFit by Amy (a qualified instructor rather than a random youtuber bro with no idea). I do all round arm ones rather than just triceps.
Also body weight workouts like yoga / Pilates /pressups type moves. My wrists don't like too much weight on them so I struggle with those.
My motivation is a sun holiday in June! Sun's out guns out 😂💪7 -
oops forgot to post after SW weigh-in last Monday - a disappointing 1/2lb put on @Brambling
Focussing on having overall lost 8 pounds last quarter despite having a couple of weight gains.
Hoping for a better post this Monday.
