Hello
I’ll join you again. Please put me down for 14lbs Brambling.I’ll weigh in next Wednesday. This quarter I’ll carry on with 3 meals a day, no snacking with 1 off plan meal a week. I’m doing higher protein and fats and lowish carbs, whole foods and not very many upf. Portion control, no counting calories.I’d like to focus on increasing my walking and start yoga again this quarter.I’ve stuck to the no alcohol and milk chocolate but will relax this at and after Easter I think and I’ve planned an extra off plan meal that week.Old Style Weight Loss Challenge 2025

Did have a laugh to myself this morning, as I thought 'wonder if I can lose X, before I go on holiday', think that's out of the window!I'll be happy to not feel as bloated.
Hope the better weather helps everyone.MFW - 01.10.21 £63761 01.10.22 £50962 01.10.23 £39979 01.10.24 £27815. 01.01.25. £17538

Count me in please @Brambling! Thank you for running it again! Going to aim for 10lbs please, although I will do my starting weigh in on Friday.
Food plan! This month I am trying higher protein and fat / lower carb as I did fairly well on it last year. Not completely keto, more reducing potatoes, rice/pasta and bread. I will see how I get on over the next month. I will also try not to 'boredom snack', and hoping the higher protein/fat will keep me fuller between meals.
Exercise plan! Daily steps target of 12,000. I will aim for a weekly total so it's not the end of the world if I don't make it one day. Also weights workouts and get back onto couch 2 5k to improve fitness. Gardening!
Fingers crossed we'll all feel more motivated now there's some sun and daylight in the eves :-)

Thank you, Brambling, for creating the new thread.
With the bathroom scales back in good order, I'll hope to do a weekly Tuesday morning weigh-in (except when I'm on holiday - twice in this quarter) and convert the kilos to pounds.
Please record my aim of losing 10 pounds this quarter which would get me to an exact number of stones.6 -

Welcome back guys 👋
good luck with the new challenge and may the better weather bring on the need for salads and not ice cream!I would like to say I started how I mean to go on and avoided the cake in the local NT garden but if I'm honest it was because I didn't want to join a long queue when there was a shortage of tablesLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin7 -
back again Brambling!! And need to be rid of 10 pounds by mid May so please magic it away for me!!!!
I'd been doing well in the first quarter and as I mentioned in the previous thread - don't go to France just before the quarter ends as it's no help whatsoever. This quarter won't be much better as we're off to Canada from late May until the beginning of July and I know there will be some bigs meals calling to me.
