    Thanks, Soolin.

What an absolute mess eBay have made.

I usually try and see the positive in things, I'm even using SD for some of my  parcel size items now- but this feels rushed and I don't think ebay are anywhere near ready to implement this without a great many issues.

I don't think they have actually talked to any small truly private sellers about how they use ebay and couriers or RM , they seem to assume we are all the same - like mini businesses and can happily use QR codes or print labels.

    +1 to this.

I'm usually a positive person but I can see no positivity in this change.
It does seem like they haven't thought it through and are nowhere near ready to implement it.

As a lot of things I sell are unwanted items of clothing, I think Vinted may be a better choice for me for those, and maybe list more expensive items e.g. new footwear and jewellery items on both platforms.

I've not done any comparison between carrier prices on both platforms.

If eBay automatically xfer my existing active items to 'simple postage', I can see me cancelling a lot of orders.
Or I may just end all active items until I decide what to do.

It's left a really bad taste in my mouth.
    Shame on you, eBay.
I really hope it backfires on them.

    Thanks for your help.

Vinted tends to achieve lower prices and postage charged to the buyer is about the same, I think the buyer premium bit is slightly cheaper though on Vinted. As I said earlier, if you decide to give Vinted a go, do start a thread for questions, I, for instance have turned off RM due to issues. It’s QR only, my mail centre won’t issue receipts and RM seems to take days to update and it makes me nervous, it’s also usually the dearest option for the buyer .

it’s a slightly longer wait for money on Vinted , but I’m not unduly worried about that, I’m happier just to see things get sold and out of my house.
