So anyway when the jacket arrived I burst out laughing as it was a ridiculously cheap plastic not leather and was almost orange in colour. Wouldnt be seen dead wearing it. I immediately contacted the company for details of how to return for refund. It turned out also it was from China not US as advertised. At first no response but then they started messing around before eventually offering 50% refund. I declined immediately and asked for shipping details to return the jacket. They then said they would give full refund to be paid in 5-7 days and to keep the jacket anyway. So after 7 days no refund. More excuses about a banking problem etc and it would be reissued. 3 or 4 more 5-7 days have passed and still nothing. Obviously they are taking the !!!!!! but what can I do. What laws can I threaten them with or who can I report them to? Cost wasn’t massive at £86 but I dont want to give in
If you can post a link to the site it will help.Do you mean manlytshirt.com?Plenty of complaints and very poor reviews when you google that web address.Website has plenty of red flags as well.Hopefully you also don't get hit with customs fees for importing the jacket.

If you can squeeze the 50% out of them that's likely the best to happen.

It does need to be returned. Only chargeback that does not require a return. Is counterfeit goods. Which these retailers have moved away from & now brand them, themselves to get round that.
The December 2024 issue of the Mastercard chargeback guide states the cardholder's obligations for returning misdescribed or defective goods are:
"The cardholder informed the merchant the goods were available for pickup or return."0
