Read the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread. That exact tedious letter is there. We don't need to hear about it!

does the letter say at the bottom can't pay, then we'll take it away?
    Yes, thats the one.

The company name has the word bailiffs in it, and they make reference to the fact they were (many years ago) on a programme about their bailiff division.

The company is actually acting a powerless debt collection company in these cases.

Three letters from DCBL and two from DCB Legal is the usual now.
So at this point I still just ignore it... and can expect another nasty letter in a few weeks?

At what point does this end usually? what's the end game? Will I just keep getting horrible letters through until they give up, or do they actually somehow escalate it again?

    Thanks

Come back when you receive a Letter Before Claim from Sarah Ensall at DCB Legal.

In this case I would respond to that one showing some fury that you're being pursued for a paid ticket. We'll help you.

Thanks to you too. Yep not for any profit.

I'm also on the Government Steering Group to help shape their statutory Code of Practice. Have been for 5 years. No expenses are paid so the attendees for the consumer side do it because we care.

Hopefully the Code is nearing finality this year. Anyway you are safe following our advice.
