Ignore them then! There is literally nothing you need to do and no grief! Relax.

We are here. This is nothing.

IGNORE THE £170 threatograms that follow. We don't want or need to see those. See the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread for pictures.

PROMISE US you won't cave & pay?!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

If your struggling with it go see your MP or send email. Explain you've tried to resolve it but ParkMaven have ignored your written complaint and are threatening debt collectors/court action over a pcn you've already paid. Ask MP to write on your behalf asking BPA to investigate.

In my eyes, I knew I had overstayed, so I paid it, kind of felt it was my own fault so just did it.

OK, Thank you. I won't lie, I was tempted to just pay it yesterday just to cross it off the list of stresses im feeling at the moment, but it is wrong so I will resist and trust the process

I have done a bit more investigating and have managed to find a form on BPA to fill out and that says they will respond within 28 days.

Thanks all for your help, will try to stay strong

Except you never entered into a valid contract to pay it in the first place. The fault isn't yours.

does the letter say at the bottom can't pay, then we'll take it away?
    From the Plain Language Commission:

"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"

The company name has the word bailiffs in it, and they make reference to the fact they were (many years ago) on a programme about their bailiff division.

The company is actually acting a powerless debt collection company in these cases.

Three letters from DCBL and two from DCB Legal is the usual now.
