Nothing just tired of the amount of intransigence from all the other parties involved, I’ve tried EGGROUP and they sent me similar info as Starbucks gave, read the signs, read the t’s and c’s, basically no help. So here goes Plan B, one thing I might send them is this Google image, because it’s exactly what I was confronted with
a full McD’s CP + this parking notice  1 hour 
I was there 50 minutes apparently ? 

I’ve cropped them but there straight off maps and 7 years old - but they illustrate the scenario,
so no parking there so I park down the road thinking it’s the same CP, I’m not getting it? How do you get a PCN for doing what I’ve done half my life when parking in a retail area.

I’ve even seen the YouTube skit and it’s laughable.

I have approached McD HQ but got a knock back from the manager saying there’s a sign so not his problem!

It's a 'cash cow site'.

Not that the DVLA bothers to collect site Postcodes so unhelpfully, they and the Government have no idea which sites are churning out inordinate amounts of PCNs compared to other locations which might be managed more fairly. Something that the MHCLG must collect in future, is SPECIFIC site postcode PCN issuance data or the 'scrutiny' will fail.

The keeper appeals NOT SAYING WHO WAS DRIVING, using the method on the back of the PCN then later, the keeper copies a very recent Stansted MET POPLA appeal that includes the POPLA Code for the case they got wrong (already written for you; on threads that have been there/done their POPLA appeals in February).

The signs around the car park advise motorists of the terms and conditions for using the car park and if you have followed these terms but still received a parking charge then you need to follow the appeals procedure shown on the parking charge. If you need additional assistance MET Parking’s customer service team can be contacted by email atcs@metparking.com.

 

As a reminder the terms for using the car park are:

 

• There is a parking tariff to park in the car park, however, there is a free stay period in the car park for Starbucks customers who make a purchase in our store.
• This free stay period only applies while the store is open and while the occupants of the car remain in the store or the car park.
• All customers must register their vehicle on arrival on the iPad in the store to qualify for the free stay. 
• The current free stay period for vehicles registered on the iPad in the store is 1 hour from arrival in the car park.
• If Starbucks is closed, or if you were not a customer, or if you left your car in the car park and walked out of the car park,  then you must have paid for parking following the instructions on the signs around the car park.
• If you parked in a disabled bay, you must have displayed a valid disabled badge in your windscreen.

This firm eg.group actually run some Starbucks up and down the country, in fact I discovered an email where they were congratulated for intervening on a parking dispute not unlike the South Gate park Stansted (Starbucks) - so on the one hand they can intervene but not if MET parking are involved.

Hello All , i am new to the forum.  I landed here bec of a pcn NTK issued by MET parking services under similiar circumstances as @southgate_park. Having reviewed the info on here and the newbies thread, I have submitted an online appeal using the template. i fully expect it to be rejected and want to be ready for next steps. I wanted to know if @southgate_park had an update on their appeal.

Oh no, I am currently 'stung' by MET parking at McDs. Reason for PCN, customer was not on site. 

I was on site for 15 mins it took me to eat a McFlurry. I even ran into the warden, who was asking ppl if they parked a car there, if yes, reg please. I offered to give my reg, warden said it's ok, I saw you enter and that's (pointed) your car yes? I have noted it. He did not!

I returned to the McDs today to speak to the manager, he reviewed the internal footage, he gave me this name, confirmed that CCTV showed me on the day speaking to the warden whilst ordering food on self-service kiosk wearing a certain colour, I did wear that colour on the day. Mananger told me do NOT pay MET, he will try to get it cancelled for me, and took down PCN and VRM details but if not, do appeal it, including info that I had spoken to the manager (name) and take it from there. 

Now i'm thinking if I should wait for it to be cancelled by the manager of McDs? Or go ahead with my appeal (leased vehicle one) which at present is still in my leasing company's name, but alreayd been forwarded my deatils for them to re-issue (with a new date). Any tips on what to do this in instance welcomed. 

Also the rubbish 'proof' of me breaching this by MET is just 4 pics of vehicle time stamped 5 mins apart. Only shows vehicle present and parked at those times, not me 'outside' the premisis.

If the manager fails, ask for that CCTV footage and send it as a formal complaint to MET.

Then as a formal complaint to the BPA with your evidence to

AND please stick around to complete the Public Consultation about regulating the private parking industry. The Government is about to launch the Consultation any week now, we believe.

You should respond to the MHCLG with your evidence if the scam the warden played on you, even if no question fits it!
