MET PARKING SERVICES

Yes, I have the standard PCN, from MET, drove into site McD’s CP full so carried in found a # had a meal.
so here we are I’m completely New here as if landed from Mars my apologies, but there’s a mention of a go to template, I note there’s successful outcomes but they go into unfathomable detail, ie don’t admit your driving … I plea to your good nature but can someone put me in the right track to appeal this nonsense I’ve even seen the YouTube skit and it’s laughable. I have approached McD HQ but they got a knock back from the manager he saying there’s a big sign so not his problem!

I assume you watched the Joe Lycett video
MET PARKING AT THE McD / STARBUCKS is a COMPLETE MONEY SCAM.

One car park operated by MET but split into two to make money .  The BPA ALLOW THIS SCAM despite all the waffle they preach,  POPLA are totally clueless

However you should go through the appeal process with MET and then POPLA when MET reject it as they will.
The next step will be from Idiotic debt collectors WHICH YOU IGNORE

Then maybe MET's favourite legal called DCBL.  DCBL love this scam and they are great to play the "DCBL game" with

DO NOT PAY MET.   Play the game and NEVER respond to idiotic debt collectors, they are powerless.

Court judges do not like scammers ESPECIALLY THIS MONEY SCAM

Thanks for advice, I’ve tried McD’s no help and I’ve sent a message to Starbucks you’d think they would of had enough of the adverse publicity, yes I saw the video it exposes the nonsense of it all. My wife advised to park there she said park at McDonalds specifically ! Well we know why McD’s carpark was full and I’ve learnt since there mostly taxis !

How to appeal is already in the NEWBIES thread. Nothing unfathomable there.

    Tried the plan A
Their all in on the scam

My name is Magnus and I am the manager for the customer care team.

I've been asked by the senior leadership team to reach out to you directly regarding your experience.

I'm sorry to read you received a parking charge after visiting our Stansted Airport - A120 DT store.

Unfortunately, the car park here is managed by MET parking. Both Starbucks and Euro Garages, the licensee who owns and operates this site, are not able to help and have no authority to overturn any parking charges received.

If you would like to appeal this, then you would need to send all correspondence to cs@metparking.com, who will be able to assist you further.

Several signs around the car park clarify the below terms and conditions:
    •    Maximum stay 60 minutes, whilst the store is open. If the store is closed, pay to park applies.
    •    The car park is for Starbucks customers only who make a purchase in our store, a charge will be issued if you left the site.
    •    If you had made a purchase and required additional time, you must have inputted your registration number into the in store iPad which would have extended your stay up to 3 hours
    •    To park in a disabled bay, you must have displayed a valid disabled badge.
    •    If Starbucks was closed, you must have paid for parking as charges still apply, following signage located on site.
    •    If you didn’t use the store, you must have paid for parking, following signage located on site

I’d like to assure you that I do understand your disappointment and have ensured your comments have been shared with the relevant teams for their attention.

Once again, please accept our apologies.

EG Group Limited is a British operator of filling stations, convenience stores and food service providers across Europe, the United States and Australia. It was founded in Blackburn in 2001 by brothers Mohsin and Zuber Issa, initially as Euro Garages.

    They also own ASDA

If as said. they own the land, it must be them who contracted MET Parking. If not then who did

What a complete scam. They should be ashamed.

YOU DO NOT APPEAL USING THAT EMAIL ADDRESS. He told you wrong...

The keeper appeals NOT SAYING WHO WAS DRIVING, using the method on the back of the PCN then later, the keeper copies a very recent Stansted MET POPLA appeal that includes the POPLA Code for the case they got wrong (already written for you; on threads that have been there/done their POPLA appeals in February).

It still doesn't matter if the land is owned by the Issa brothers or Little Bo Peep for that matter. Unless there is evidence that the Secretary of State has revoked the airport byelaws with respect to the parcel of land within the airport byelaws boundary, it remains under statutory control and is not relevant land for the purposes of Schedule 4 of PoFA 2012.

Hi CP - exhausted contacting various parties so on to appeal (MET PCN) is this the actual appeal template intro … ?

TEMPLATE ''ONE SIZE FITS ALL'' FIRST APPEAL THAT DOESN'T SAY WHO WAS DRIVING:

    Re PCN number:
I dispute your 'parking charge', as the keeper of the vehicle. I deny any liability or contractual agreement and I will be making a complaint about your predatory conduct to your client landowner
