Have been looking forward to 2008 as last year was quite rubbish, and this is a fantastic way to start.
I'm going to spend tons of time on here to keep the motivation going, thank you for the support:jBack and ready to save some money!

Congratulations it is good to read such a positive post because a lot of us on this site know how hard it can be to budget, not overspend and get back in the black.
Excellent news on the smoking too.:jMay 2013 new beginnings:j0 -
Grrr!!
I am doing so well this month, but for the last few days its been like ive been deliberately sabotaging myself. I was invited out yesterday morning for a hot choc and muffin by a friend, and then invited to the cinema in the afternoon by my mum.
Today i went out with my mum and son to see some relatives and went out for lunch. We then stopped off at a petrol station on the way home and bought snacks.
I have now spent all this weeks grocery budget (week ending next weds!) as well as some of the money from the next week.
Its just so blimming frustrating. I dont know why i keep doing this to myself!
We have plenty of food in the cupboards/ fridge and freezer so we should be able to last, although i will have to get milk and some fruit in the middle of the week.
Anyway, just needed to vent!Back and ready to save some money!

Never mind we are all human.
Be extra careful for the next couple of weeks and you'll soon catch up.
