Do the names and amounts on page 1 get updated at all? There’s lots of blanks. I was hoping to look through and get inspired by some low budgets.I’ve only shopped twice so far (although I did a shop on 30th March, I wasn’t doing this budgeting thing then) but I’ll definitely need to do at least one more shop before the end of April.2025 April £257/£300

I ran craft group today. Just goes to show that not all people have family and things going on over the long Easter holiday. Dropped into Aldi on way home for 2 bundles of spring onions at 15 p each. Today our meals have been sandwiches and toast to use up bots and bobs that are left overs from visitors. Hopefully we will make it to the end of this week without spending much more.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

Managed to stay living out of the cupboard and fridge for the weekend. Used up a tin of new potatoes by roasting them, added broccoli and carrots from the CF store, used up last of chicken that was from CF too. Gravy, stuffing from cupboard and voila a roast. Made a tuna pasta bake also. Today is dedicated to using up last of salad for lunch then last of veggies for tea with some thing..... maybe a stew. Which means tomorrow I have to shop!

I am down to the last few days before payday. Lasagne tonight for dinner was made yesterday and ready to reheat. I think I'll do a bit of baking when I get home tonight so we have a tasty snack to have with a coffee to reduce the chance of nipping to the corner shop for chocolate, I have plenty of baking supplies in. I want today to be a NSD.

£11.13 spent in Morrisons on apples, oranges, cheap porridge, moist toilet paper, 1 pack of microwave rice and 4 sachets of powdered spice kits.
I hopefully won't need to do shopping for a couple of days as I've enough salad in.
I've quite a few carrots and potatoes, so should be ok for a few days their too.Decluttering campaign 2023

Hi all, haven’t caught up with the posts yet but just wanted to say I’m still going. Last week we had a very last minute break away so there wasn’t any budget for food etc so that’s just come from the shopping fund and includes a few bottles of wine and spending more on the usual stuff than we would. Also includes a leg of lamb and all the other bits that go with that for Sunday roast last week. So it’s ended up a very spendy month, with a lot of days left and not much money left
I will have to get another big shop delivered on Sunday, other than that will want bread, milk and salad bits before then. I will probably end up going over but going to make it as less as possible is the new goal.
£314.49 spent so far.10 -
Yesterday I tried returning the peppercorn grinder to M & S but their return systems were down! The attendant recommended I come back later in the week when it’s fixed. While there I bought more bananas and Greek yoghurt and spent £3.32.
£364.06 / £400 spent. £35.94 total remaining.
