I just paid 1600 pounds for 5 nights to nye and now loveholidays changed there prices for 7 days for 1484 pounds made a complaint and they will not do anything and saying your booking is none refundable and kept making comments that prices can change. Told them its unfair that paid for 5 nights when could got it for 7 nights cheaper the next day. I am not 100% upset because going to my dream holday first time abroad but did date change to add more days onto my booking and now going to feel like been ripped off and loveholidays are not being supportive and did price match thing because seen cheaper again on expedia. Any advice or just enjoy my first holiday there

..I think you will find "that's life"....bit like buyuing something, then the next day they have a sale and reduce the price by 50%.... .just enjoy your holiday that was originally at an accceptable cost to you when you purchased it.......

Atleast then you can return it and buy it back at the discount price. Just fingers crossed they accept my price match but thank you!

The golden rule is once you have bought a holiday, never ever ever ever look at the price again!

I bought a winter coat from Superdry, only to find it had been reduced by £40 a couple of days later. That's life, I'm afraid.

When we went to New York I made the mistake of booking for just 5 nights, so despite being organised and having a full calendar, we simply ran out of time to see everything we wanted to see. Looking back I should've booked for at least 7 nights.

A more serious problem is that the USA has started refusing entry to people with British passports, apparently for no reason. This is not something that your insurance would cover.

Not true, there is no statutory right to just return and get a refund for change of mind. That is down to the retailer giving you additional rights, so exactly the same as you have here.

What is the source of this information? As a frequent US visitor I have not seen anything suggesting anything has changed.

Provided you have a valid passport and ESTA then refusal is unlikely and should be covered by insurance as you have done everything you can to comply with entry requirements.

Prices change all the time, This is normal. You pay the price when you book is final.
For overseas holidays, things like exchange rates can even have effects even when you are paying in pounds.

Also, as for the comment about people being refused from the USA, that is not true at all. They are refusing some people of lots of different nationalities if they get flagged and the border staff don't like something or they refuse to let them look at things like your phone or computer which is very rare to happen, but it is happening.
As long as you are a legit tourist and don't plan or working, overstaying or living there illegally, there is nothing to worry about.
Lets just try to stay on topic.
