Same experience with Trading212. Essentially, I did everything correctly but the link was not honoured.  Dishonest practise when using via MSE.

    ISA Bonus Interest Rate Issues

To anyone else reading this thread, there are a few reasons certain ISA accounts may not earn a bonus. Each of the following are dependent of the T&Cs of the respective accounts. The following are based on accounts available at the time of writing and linked on the MSE best ISAs page.

    1) A lower interest rate on transfers in (can be previous i.e T212 or current tax year i.e. Plum)
    2) An interest rate that drops after a number of withdrawals (i.e. Moneybox)
    3) Accidently opening without using an affiliate link that gives the offer (for example, using the MSE link to T212 if you click any other page on T212 and then click links on the page to get back to Cash ISA the MSE affiliate is now broken)
    4) You need to be a new customer, many interest rates are only available to new customers even if you were only with them for a short period before or a long time ago.
    Can I add another?
    Bonus rates for new customers:

T212 (and maybe others) keeps a record of applications that were started but aborted for whatever reason: If enough detail was recorded to identify you, you'll be denied on the basis of not a 'new customer' even though an account was never opened.

And you won't find out until you've put funds in it and the rate displays.
    Fortunately for me, it's only a £5...
and the recent ISA rules let me open something elsewhere and honest.
