Re detective books, @AlwaysAllie I like LJ Ross, mainly set in the NEast with DIRyan , although she has a new series set in Cornwall too.

Many thanks for all your supportive comments about our gentle giant. We've been keeping busy to distract ourselves but looking at photos too x

I put a set of photos in a folder on my desktop so I can go look at them whenever I feel the need (it has been five years since our dog Mamas was PTS, but she is definitely not forgotten).

Thanks - I've read the Cornwall ones, and about half of the NE ones but got 'bored' cos they were all a bit samey! Will look out for others though

Thanks for the book recommendations...not my cup of tea but I've put the authors onto my dads' audible wish list - he loves a good murder! x
