I opened account this morning with a £10 deposit.  I clicked through on the link provided by MSE so when I entered the MSE code it said I had already been allocated free shares.  I have been given Deutsche Bank which is a pending order so I should see them appear tomorrow.

I’ve been given Coca - Cola shares.   I’ll give them a go and see what happens

Do you have to deposit money or can I transfer my current II account to 212 and claim the offer?  I’ve been looking for a while to move from II to 212 to save on fees
Deposit seems the quickest and most guaranteed way, but all you need to deposit is £1, which you can do by instant bank transfer or debit card with no fees.

You can then pull your other shares over using the 212 app (which I am currently doing with mine from HL).
I can’t avail myself of the offer then as I already invested my 20k allowance for the current year

The ISA allowance resets on 6th April doesn’t it? But, not sure how long the MSE40 code is valid for, or if the 80,000 quota has been used up by now

Expires in 6 days. For the sake of £1 over, I opened an account. But 212 asks if you want to do a partial of full transfer. Even after choosing full, you then have to add each stock individually, adding the amount of share and the average price.

At that point. I messaged them informing them to close the account.  Way too much palaver for a simple process

It doesn't have to be a S&S ISA. I just paid £1 into their regular "invester" account and got them that way.

I already have a Stocks and Shares ISA so does that mean I can't do this 212 account?

As per the post above yours, you don't have to open a new ISA account to qualify.

You can now open as many ISAs as you want as long as you don't go over the £20k

If we open an Investor account with Trading 212, using the MSE40 code (if still available), £1 buys 40 shares so would £50 buy 2000 shares........or is that just wishful thinking?  :D
