So, with this, has anybody actually been able to withdraw any money, or am i completely misunderstanding the entire concept?
I have left some in, but I can only withdraw my £1 back, which makes me think the rest of the 'cast' isn't actually factual...0 -
I sold immediately my shares, but the money, according to MSE can be withdrawn after 30 days.SquirrelDon said:So, with this, has anybody actually been able to withdraw any money, or am i completely misunderstanding the entire concept?

I decided I really didn’t want the Tesla shares that it allocated me.. So I sold them this morning, and the money is now sitting there as ‘cash’. I believe you can withdraw the money after 30 days, but you’ll need to sell the shares first. Im going to choose another company to put my money on 👍🏻SquirrelDon said:So, with this, has anybody actually been able to withdraw any money, or am i completely misunderstanding the entire concept?

As I signed my mum up for a 212 cash ISA last week I realised that she would be eligible too, so we added a trading account today and stuck a quid in and she ended up with £40 worth of Moderna shares.Lets meet back here in 6 months or so and see how everyone who decided to hang on to their randomly allocated stock has faired 😁• The rich buy assets.

Do you have to deposit money or can I transfer my current II account to 212 and claim the offer? I’ve been looking for a while to move from II to 212 to save on fees0

Deposit seems the quickest and most guaranteed way, but all you need to deposit is £1, which you can do by instant bank transfer or debit card with no fees.Do you have to deposit money or can I transfer my current II account to 212 and claim the offer? You can then pull your other shares over using the 212 app (which I am currently doing with mine from HL).• The rich buy assets.

I think if you just go via the link it automatically adds it. As when I tried to add code it said I'd already had offer & shares are there pending

It seems to sort the code out automatically. My son tried to add it in the app and it said he'd already used it. He said they'd better not give him Tesla shares, which of course they did. The market was closed so he can't sell until Monday. I sold my Meta shares already and lost 12p in FX fees. I'm still 2p up 😁0

I was allocated Tesla shares, sold them and reinvested. Already £3.05 up, i’m happy with that!0
