If you pay, you cannot challenge the CCJ.

Paying the CCJ now achieves nothing aside from stopping enforcement which you can do just as simply by following the instructions above.

Paying the CCJ may prevent you from getting a mortgage for the next 6 years.

Take a deep breath and get to a court to stay the writ. Forget everything else right now!

The purpose of the stay is to stop them coming for your property while you (with the help of the fine people around here) figure out your actual position.

From catching up with the thread, there is a lot of missing information (not relating to "evidence") and I'm quite unclear on what has happened, but from experience when dealing with private parking companies there is almost always good reason for a set aside application.

As I (and others) have said - don't worry about that now. Get the stay sorted first and then we can get into that.

As ChirpyChicken says, there is no reason to make multiple trips. Fill it in, print it off, take it to the court as soon as physically possible.

There's a thread about a writ in February. Username starts with alliterative letter M.

That will help you do it right.

No posting anything: too slow. Just email a copy to DCB Ltd (and DCB Legal if they filed the actual claim - you have the Claim Form so you can check).

Noted thank you, so I need to email the writ to dcbl and the high court that enforced the writ is that correct and also would it be suffice to ask for a remote hearing as with me working away I don’t want to get a date through and not be able to make it

    No it isn't correct
You take it by hand to your local county court and if they have a counter (which court by the way) you can pay the fee there (unlikely)
If not you will have to pay over the phone and need patience to get through but it depends on the court involved.
your local court is listed on court finder
