Cold is just very bunged up and lovely.

    But

I have a job interview on Thursday at 4.30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very excited, but have nothing to wear so have to go shopping after work tomorrow! A bit panicked but it will be fine. Job sounds great, starting as HR assistant, but they want someone they can train to be a big part of their HR team, controling recruitment etc. I will find out more on Thursday. Not sure what the wages are, but when she asked what I was currently earning, she didn't say I'm sorry it's less than that!!!

So fingers crossed for me! It could be really good and one of those career starting things if I get it. I would help run (and then possibly run) the recruitment for the whole of the UK!! They employ about 350 staff across several different sites. It's a bit closer to work so I would possibly cut back on petrol a bit.

I'll let you know how I get on

    xx

Loan payment went out again today so that's another chunk off the debt, with more due soon.

I will do. Hopefully they will like me!

I love the sound of the job and think I could do it with the right training which is what they are offering. I just need to think about the right questions to ask them.

    Hi

I know some of you will know I have been having trouble with OH, well I ended it tonight. I know it's the right thing for me, I know and feel this deep down. But I feel terrible because I have hurt him.

He has no idea what he has done wrong even though I have explained how I am feeling endless times.

Why is it you can feel so bad for doing the right thing for you???

On a plus point I have to go for a second interview on Monday which can only be a good thing right?

awww Lucy, that's a shame. but if you are sure it's for the best then it's a good thing. It'll hurt for a while though.

Good luck with the interview though, don't let this stop you doing your prep for it.

I wont don't you worry I really want this job!

Right I have just looked at the financial implications of being single again  And I think I could save about £40 a month on petrol (I wouldn't have a couple of 26 mile round trips each weekend) and I could cut my spends back by about £40 a month to. Which would give me an extra £80 towards my debts.

Even if I manage to have a couple of nights out a month, I don't drink so can drive and save money that way.

I've decided that once my laptop and OD have gone I am going to save for a trip to America to see a friend I've not seen in about 2 years. Which will be my something to look forward to.

Well I am going to trial the cuts above and see how I get on, hopefully if I get this new job I will also get a payrise which would help. I am trying to look at it all positively and see the real side to it all, I have made the right decision for me and I need to make the most of my me time and that is getting rid of as much debt as possible and having my 2 weeks in America!!
