Well well well... look what arrived this morning.
Thrilled to be shot of these manure-munchers. They've caused a significant amount of suffering, which has set my SO back significantly. Not that that's of any concern to them.Out of interest, their N279 notice doesn't actually appear to have been completed in full... Is this of any consequence? Is it worth a follow-up with them to make sure they've got their ducks in a row, and that this is truly a dead case?I'd just like to take a moment to once again thank you all for your support through the months this has dragged on. What we are all witness to here on the forum is a bona fide public service, and to have access to the annals of wisdom contained here, without a penny changing hands, is (quite frankly) bonkers. I am most humbled.I think this one is ready for the discontinuation thread!3 -

As for me: you ain't seen nothing yet! Wait till the statutory Code of Practice finally comes out. I am determined to win the important arguments despite the awful Options Assessment in the Autumn which showed us the MHCLG Minister had completely missed the point; their view on added fees was naive.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and along with the rest of the good guys on the Steering Group, I am trying bloody hard on this. We have to curb the worst excesses. It is not over. Watch this space in Spring.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
