In addition do not use the word "fine" in any correspondence these PCNs  are speculative parking charges not fines, the management company also think these idiots are issuing fines.

No response from my MA (shocker) but I received an email 'response' to my complaint email, which basically wants me to log into their portal - which i have to create an account for - I'm not really keen to willingly enter lots of my information into their system just to read their standard 'thoust must pay' BS however.... though I suspect they have all the info anyway.

UPDATE: Jumped through their hoops (using a burner email address) only to find out there is no message. Suspect that was just to get me to register.

Image of the the email 'response'.

Well, the day finally arrived - this morning i received a Letter of Claim from HM Courts & Tribunals containing a Claim Form & a Response Pack.

I've read the Template Defence thread (thanks to @Coupon-mad for the template - I'd definiately be lost without it) and will log the AoS via MCOL as per that thread - 5 days from now!

Will follow the steps laid out in https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6108153/template-defence-to-adapt-for-all-parking-cases-with-added-admin-dra-costs-edited-in-2025/p1 and see how it plays out...

Unsure at this stage if i want to issue a counter-claim against my MA, but i think that's something i'll decide later on. I'm definately going to contact them and update them about this; clearly they've just sat on my complaint and request to opt-out of the scheme.

Thanks to all the amaing advice on this forum, i'm not even remotely worried about this - i'm more annoyed that's wasting my time, if anything.

    Will keep y'all updated.

A Claim Form is not a Letter of Claim. You mean the former?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No. That isn't what you said you have!

Hi, sorry, yes, i meant the former. I have a pack which includes the covering letter form HM Courts and Tribunals, a form labelled 'Claim Form' with the POC on it and a 'Response Pack'. Apologies for the confusion!

Fully covered in the Template Defence thread.

Defence submitted and acknowleglement letter from HM Courts received. Lets see how this plays out....

(have also submitted complaint to Gladstones about another PCN they're chasing - will submit any updates on this thread rather than starting another).
  • Latest update to PCN #1, letter received from BW Legal (image below) offering me *yet another* payment 'deal'. Obviously ignored. The more letters like this they send, the more confident I am of a positive outcome - for me that is! Also, they sent it on my birthday. Asshats.
