Sorry now im a bit confused! CST law did issue me the letter before claim (LBC) in January 2024 - do I still ignore?Umkomaas said:
CST have gone very quiet of late, so I'd ignore them (not that they've been any much of a threat anyway). Only if anyone issues a Letter Of/Before Claim, or formal County Court Claim, come back on this thread. That's about top and bottom of things.peridot25 said:
Ok thank you so much - really appreciate it!Coupon-mad said:
And the CST Law letter was an older one, in 2024? Ignore that. Just get your address updated with DCB Ltd and Smart.peridot25 said:

Nothing will happen. If it does, come back, as you'll never be paying this.
So I don't even need to send the template email to CST Law in response to the LBC? Just ignore all after changing my address?0 -
That's over 12 months ago. If it was to mean anything, they'd have followed it up with a claim months ago. Ignore them .... unless you get anything more from them. But now it's handed over to DCB Limited, CST are vanishingly unlikely to be further involved.peridot25 said:

So I don't even need to send the template email to CST Law in response to the LBC? Just ignore all after changing my address? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

There is no 28 days "law". If they refuse to communicate and refuse to provide any information, that is unreasonable and obstructive behaviour and you'd add a paragraph in your defence or witness statement to highlight this.Smart parking just denied my appeal saying that it was outside the 28 days and CST law never respondend to my email when I asked for the evidence. But it doesn't sound like court is too likely.2 -
Smart managing an Asda owned car park? That’s a match made in heaven .Smart never used to do Pofa compliant PCNs and combined with the fact that I have NEVER seen a court claim issued with ASDA owned land involved . Probably because they will not allow their own shoppers be sued , damaging their image and turn away customers from shopping in their stores .CyST never started any priceedings , I highly doubt DCBLegal will either if the land is owned by ASDA .6

Hi guys,
Thanks for all your help!
Just received this letter though from dcb legal. Is it anything to worry about? Shall I still not respond and just ignore it, or do I need to do anything?

Reply or not reply you will still get a court claim
Easily beaten through as its DCB legal1 -
You could of course repeat the complaints and demands for previous info you sent previously to DCB Legal.1
